The Bhuleshwar Temple , is one of the magnificent temple of Maharashtra. The main temple and its premises bears the long history of art and architectural continuity. It is rich in architecture and iconography of two distance period. Through the myths and legends place is popular as a seat of Lord Siva and connected with the deity Khandoba at Jejuri.
The Mallikarjun Temple at Loni Bhapkar also is a fine example of the 13/14 th century temple architecture and iconography, especially the sculptural narratives of Krishna-Lila and Ramayana. It is on the right bank of river Karha, a tributary of the river Nira around 80 km south-east of Pune.
